02Sequence of work

How it actually goes

01

Schedule build

We take your sizes and product list and build the schedule the reviewer expects to see.

02

NOA package

Every product needs current approval documentation. Expired NOAs are the number one comment on these permits.

03

Condo routing

Unit owners in condominiums almost always need association sign-off first. We flag this before filing so the permit is not dead on arrival.

04

File and issue

Filed, fees paid, permit delivered.

05

Inspections

Scheduled around your install crew.

03Questions we get

Straight answers

Why did my window permit get rejected?

In our experience the top three reasons are an expired product approval, a schedule that does not match the drawings, and missing attachment details for the specific substrate. All three are avoidable at filing.

I live in a condo. What is different?

You will generally need written association approval before the jurisdiction will issue, and many associations have their own approved product lists. Start with the association, not the building department.

Do you handle a single window replacement?

Yes, and we quote it honestly. Sometimes on a very small job our fee is a large share of the total and we will tell you if you are better off filing yourself.
