Short version: we use what you send us to answer you and do your permit work, and we do not sell it to anyone.

When you submit a form on this site we collect what you type into it: your name, email address, optional phone number, the property address or folio you give us, your role in the project, your stated urgency, your preferred language, and any description you write.
This site does not use advertising trackers or third-party analytics pixels. Our free tools, including the recertification checker and the fee estimator, run entirely in your browser and send nothing to us.
To answer you, to research your property record where the job requires it, to prepare a quote, and to do the permit work if you hire us. That is the whole list.
We do not sell your information. We do not rent it, trade it, or share it with data brokers. We do not add you to a marketing list because you asked a question. We do not send newsletters.
Only where doing the work requires it: the permitting jurisdiction when we file on your behalf, and service providers we engage on your specific project such as an engineer or a courier, and only with the information they need.
We use Resend to deliver form submissions to our own inbox. We may disclose information where required by law.
Project records are retained while a matter is active and for a reasonable period afterward, because permit records have long tails and clients come back years later with questions about an old file. Inquiries that never become projects are kept only as long as useful and then deleted.
Ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing hello@southgatepermits.com. If you ask us to delete a record for an active or completed permit matter we may need to retain limited information for our own records, and we will tell you what and why.
This site is served over HTTPS and form submissions are transmitted encrypted. No system is perfectly secure, and we will not claim otherwise.
This site is not directed to children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
If this policy changes materially we will update the date below. Continued use of the site after a change means the updated policy applies.
